ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï and SCO

Students of ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï have contributed in organizing a historical event, the 9th Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), "Contemporary Challenges to the Economic Development of the SCO Region," which was held on 23-24 June 2014. Results of the forum were released in a collection of materials with the title of “9thForum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization”.
In general, the discussions of the 9th Forum of SCO were based around the Chinese delegations’ concept of the economic zone of the Great Silk Road. Additionally, the issues of trade, economic and cultural cooperation, as well as security were discussed during the Forum. 

At the end of the Forum, the National Institute of Strategic Studies of the Kyrgyz Republic expressed special gratitude to the organizers of the event for their contribution in creating the collection of materials for the Forum. A special thanks was extended to Samat Durusbekov, an ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï sophomore, for being the photographer of the event.
