President of ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï met with the President of Mongolia, Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj

In August 2014, the President of Mongolia, Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, met with the President of the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï (ÍøÆسԹÏ), Andrew Wachtel. During the meeting, discussions revolved around problems of the modern development of educational systems in universities and issues of supporting talented youths. During the conversation between President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj and Andrew Wachtel, a number of agreements were reached regarding further cooperation and collaboration between Mongolia and ÍøÆسԹÏ. In a short time, students from Mongolia will be able to study at ÍøÆسԹÏ.
President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj noted that, “ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï is the only well-known international university in Central Asia”, and that he is “sincerely delighted that the Central Asian region is becoming an innovative platform for the implementation of important economic projects”.
Andrew Wachtel in turn spoke about the construction of ÍøÆسԹϒs new campus, and talked about the strategies of ÍøÆسԹϒs development for the coming years. It was also noted that in the near future, there is a plan to open a consulate of Mongolia in Kyrgyzstan, which will lead to the exchange of students from Mongolia to Kyrgyzstan.
