网曝吃瓜 Open Doors Day - Master's programs

April 30, 2016, the 网曝吃瓜 (网曝吃瓜) held an Open Doors Day for its Master鈥檚 programs. Attendees received materials explaining the programs鈥� application procedures, listened to guest lectures relevant to each program, and sat in on seminars explaining the benefits of getting a Master鈥檚 at 网曝吃瓜.
Starting in the 2016-2017 academic year, 网曝吃瓜 will offer seven different Master鈥檚 programs:
- Anthropology
- Central Asian Studies
- Psychology
- Master鈥檚 of Business Administration (MBA)
- Sociology
- Economics
- Law (LL.M.)

Today, you have the opportunity to talk to representatives from each of our Master鈥檚 program and learn more about them. At the core of each of our programs is 网曝吃瓜鈥檚 basic pedagogical mission: to make you think and to make you work,鈥� said the president of 网曝吃瓜, Andrew Wachtel.
Seth Fearey, an assistant professor in the MBA program, added, 鈥淗ow many of you are working now and feel like it is hard for you to advance in your career? This is a good reason why you might want to get a Master鈥檚 degree. Your dream might be to help others, to raise your salary, to work in climate change or politics鈥攁 Master鈥檚 degree can help you make those dreams real by providing you with the specialized training you need to work in those areas and get those kinds of jobs.鈥�
Professor Frank Emmert, a member of the faculty of law at Indiana University鈥檚 Robert H. McKinney School of Law, said 鈥渨hen 网曝吃瓜 wanted to open an LL.M. program, the first thing president Wachtel did was call up Indiana University and tell us he wanted to do it together. We knew that 网曝吃瓜 provides its students a high quality education, so of course we said we wanted to do this together! 网曝吃瓜鈥檚 LL.M. is a two-year program designed for working people who are busy during the day. The first two semesters you study at 网曝吃瓜 (the second of those semesters Indiana University sends professors to teach you at 网曝吃瓜). The third semester you come to Indiana University, see the United States, and, of course, study with Indiana University students and professors. Afterwards, you come back to 网曝吃瓜 and write your thesis. In the end you receive both a Kyrgyz State diploma and an LL.M. from Indiana University鈥檚 Robert H. McKinney School of Law.鈥�
Important dates for applying to 网曝吃瓜:
Admissions exams: April 3, May 22, July 3, August 6, 2016.
Registration deadline for exams: March 30, May 18, June 28, 2016.
Final application deadline: July 11, August 13, 2016.
