Demir Bank Scholarships
September 5, 2012
Dear Students,
Demir International Bank and ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï are pleased to announce a scholarship program open to ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï sophomores and juniors. Demir Bank is offering 3 intelligent, active, and outgoing ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï sophomores and juniors 50% tuition scholarships, an internship with Demir Bank, and upon successful completion of the internship and graduation from ÍøÆسԹÏ, a job at Demir Bank.
The program is open to students of all departments. Interested sophomore and junior students need to have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, provide their CV, one recommendation from a professor, one recommendation from a friend, and a personal statement of no more than 2,000 words to the Financial Aid Office no later than Friday, September 14, at 12:00.
Demir Bank is seeking intelligent, active students for their workforce. Applicants should demonstrate their ability to be energetic and engaging through previous work/volunteering experiences, extra-curricular activities, and performances or competitions.
15 finalists will be selected and interviewed by Demir Bank staff.
For students who receive ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï financial aid:
Students who currently receive ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï financial aid are encouraged to apply. In the event that a student with ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï financial aid wins a Demir scholarship, his or her Demir scholarship will replace their current ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï financial aid.
If a student's ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï financial aid package is less than 50% of ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï tuition, the student will receive additional aid up to 50%. If a student's ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï financial aid package is greater than 50% of ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï tuition, then the Demir Scholarship will cover 50%, and ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï financial aid will cover the difference, so that there will be no overall change in the student's award.
