Opening ceremony of the Incheon Innovation Cluster (IIC) Branch in Kyrgyzstan

On July 10, 2025, the Department of Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science has opened a branch of the Incheon Innovation Cluster based on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which was signed between ÍøÆسԹÏ, Bishkek City Hall and Incheon Innovation Cluster. The branch will be operated as follows, within the framework of the MOU, the following activities are planned to be implemented in Bishkek and throughout the country: joint project development, joint technology development or technology transfer, joint conference, seminar, trainings, etc. In addition, one of the goals of the branch is to strengthen the existing environmental laboratory named after Prof. Zheenbek Kulenbekov.

On the same day, the Director of Incheon Innovation Cluster Prof. Heekwan Lee visited the Bishkek City Hall and several air quality monitoring spots in Bishkek. The purpose of these visits was to improve cooperation on improving the environmental situation in Bishkek.
