Tell us a little about yourself.

 

I am a graduate of the Kyrgyz State University, 1995, department of Informatics and Applied Mathematics. After graduation I worked as a teacher in a regular high school for 11 years. During this period I taught physics, mathematics, informatics, competitive programming for students of different ages. Since 2006 I have been working in ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï as instructor in Software Engineering Department. 

 

Why do you teach at ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï when you could be teaching anywhere else? Is there anything special about ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï?

 

Teaching is an opportunity to learn something new. I like the courses that I teach in ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï and teaching gives me a constant stimulus to improve my knowledge in these subjects.

 

For how long do you work in ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï?

 

7 years.

Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming I (practice)
Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming II (practice)
Data Structures and Algorithms
Algorithm Analysis
Computer Systems and Assembler
Programming Languages

 

What successful jobs graduates of Software Engineering can find?

 

We hope that the professional careers of our graduates will be associated with the development of the software. It's a rapidly growing field and our graduates have many opportunities to find a good job in Kyrgyzstan or in other countries.

 

What would you advise to prospective students of Software Engineering? What is necessary to enter this department?

 

University can give only basics of profession. Professional career in Software Engineering requires continuing education. Programmers have to be ready to learn all professional life.

 

In your opinion, how ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï students differ from students of other universities?

 

I like how students of ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï are serious about their education and their future.
