General Education Week: Daniyar Karabaev

"I am Daniyar Karabaev, a Coordinator of the General Education Department. I have different educational backgrounds in Linguistics, Political Sciences and International Area Studies focusing on Central Asian countries.
I joined ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï in August 2012. Since that I have gained a lot of useful and important experience and administrative skills while coordinating the General Education Department which is the biggest department of ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï in terms of faculty and courses on offer. I always enjoy working with all of the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï community.
The launch of the new ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï program “Liberal Arts and Sciences” within our department made my job more interesting. This unique program offers the breadth of a liberal arts education yet the depth of specialized knowledge in the chosen concentration. Liberal Arts and Sciences students have a great flexibility to structure their own study in order to make the right decision on their future concentration."
